Proposing better terms for aircraft importation into the Kyrgyz Republic

ARTE has been involved in drafting initiative proposal of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Eurasian Economic Union on revision of terms for exemption of aircraft under operational lease from customs duties in the event of importation thereof into the Kyrgyz Republic, requirements to the aircraft capacity and age. Adoption of the initiative proposal of the Kyrgyz Republic will contribute to expansion of aircraft fleet of local air operators thus contributing to further development of the civil aviation sector of the country.

Legal research on cross-border transmission of data

ARTE has been engaged by one of the leading Russian research university, Higher School of Economics to conduct a research study on regulation of access, storage and cross-border transmission of various categories of data through public and private information systems pursuant to Kyrgyz Laws. The research study has been implemented as part of the comprehensive research study commissioned by the Eurasian Economic Union with the aim to develop regulatory model for data exchange. It is anticipated that the said regulatory model will be used in developing conditions for operation of digital platforms and common data exchange market.

E-commerce advice for the world-largest clothing retail

ARTE advised a transnational group of companies, the owner of the largest clothing retail brand in the world, on e-commerce issues, including personal data and consumer protection, in connection with potential expansion of the client’s business to the territory of the Kyrgyz Republic.
